Join the author of the book "Schloss Derneburg und der Laves-Kulturpfad", Heinz-Peter Gerber, on Open Monument Day to explore the history of Schloss Derneburg, as he guides you through the castle’s rooms, drawing on eyewitness accounts and historical records. What was life like during the noble era under the Counts of Münster? Where did the artist Georg Baselitz work, and what happened during the monastery period? Afterward, you will have the opportunity to visit the art exhibitions in the annex buildings and the sculpture park at Schloss Derneburg.
