Information
Visual Deception II: Into the Future , Nagoya City Art Museum, Nagoya, Japan
The trompe l'oeil exhibition is coming back for the first time in five years. As a continuation of the 2009 special exhibition "Magic of Sight - Illusionary Art", "Trick Art II" presents works of art full of surprise and wit that deceive the viewer's eyes. In addition, we will expand the scope to introduce sculptures, photographs, and videos. In addition to the works of masters who made the history of trompe l’oeil, such as Arcimboldo and Geisbrechts, 20th-century masterpieces by Dalí and Magritte, and works by up-and-coming contemporary artists such as Vik Muniz are lined up. Please see and experience with your own eyes the mysterious world where reality and fiction intersect.
