Visitor Information
We ask all visitors to treat the buildings, the art and the park with respect. Please do not make phone calls in the exhibition rooms and stay on the designated paths. Pets and the consumption of brought-in food and drink is not permitted. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is prohibited on the entire premises. Large handbags, rucksacks and umbrellas must be stored in the lockers upon arrival. Please follow the instructions of our staff.
Accessibility
The museum is partially barrier-free. Free wheelchairs can be reserved in advance. Our staff are there to assist if required. An elevator and barrier-free sanitary facilities are available. Parts of the outdoor area are covered with gravel. The paths through the wooded part of the castle park are not paved. The historic entrance to the cloister is interrupted by a few steps. There are some historic doorsteps on the first floor that may require assistance to overcome.
Families
Our youngest visitors are also very welcome. The rule is: one accompanying adult per child. We ask accompanying adults to ensure that the safety of the artwork is guaranteed, and that consideration is shown for other visitors. Running and romping around is not permitted. We ask accompanying persons to take children under 6 years of age by the hand. Children may not be carried on the back or shoulders. For safety reasons, we reserve the right to prohibit access with baby carriages.
